Trash Can Teton Farewell
This is the last image I captured during our week in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
The previous night's storm cleared, leaving behind a thick coat of late fall snow, and blue skies emerged as we drove to the airport. I wanted one last image of the mountains and glorious fall color.
In order to create the composition I had in mind, I found a precarious perch atop a Teton Visitor Center parking lot trash can -- getting high enough to capture the mountains behind the cottonwoods, aspens, and evergreens.
This image would print well as a glossy print, un-cropped.
