These South Dakota lovebirds were married 40 years ago in their home town, right after Paul had joined the US Navy. Their honeymoon was a cross-country drive to his new home port of San Diego. After his time in the Navy, which included time in my old Navy-brat home of Yokosuka Japan, they came back to their beloved South Dakota and raised their three daughters. God has blessed Paul and Lori with sons-in-law and adorable grandbabies (with more to come!), and they brought the entire family out to San Diego to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in San Diego.
We met on Coronado and ventured out to the beach on North Island NAS to create wonderful family portraits and memories for the entire family.

A good friend of mine made that movie for me a while ago to showcase Barefoot Memories and what a family photography session is like.
As I was working on this new website last week, I came across that old movie and saw that little guy Tyler jumping off the rocks...
Well, that little dude, TYLER, is growing up fast. He and his family are one of my favorite families from NYC, and I see them every year when I make my annual trip to The Big Apple.

There are quite a few options:
1) You can have your own session just for you -- you get a larger variety and we focus completely on you!
2) Share a session with a friend! You each get your own senior portraits done, plus we can create some fun "BFF" pics
3) Use the session to get some family pictures done at the same time! We'll get the senior portraits done, and you'll have your Christmas card picture, too! (this is great for guys, since they usually don't want a lot of time spent on their pictures anyway)
For each of those options, a Mini Platinum session is the most popular option. It's the perfect amount of time for seniors.
From time to time, I also do large groups of seniors who have all gone to school together for years. If you like that idea, email me for a custom quote.
Each senior gets his/her own portraits done, plus we create a large group picture, too.

Every year I head to the Big Apple to create family portraits for my East Coast clients.
We meet in Central Park and other gorgeous locations around Manhattan (like Grand Central and Washington Square Park!).

The Mom & Dad -to-be wanted a fun way to announce their upcoming arrival to friends and family, and I'd say we knocked it out of the park!
We met on a gorgeous morning on Mission Bay (the water is so much calmer in the morning!), where this couple loves to stand-up paddle board. They brought along a baby-sized board with this adorable sign, reserved for their bundle of joy.

BRING ON THE SUMMER!
I’ll be off in Orange County for a soccer tournament this weekend (wipe that look of fake surprise off your face — you’re not fooling anyone), but I wanted to share some great beach images with you to kick off the summer!
This family from Kansas is adorable! I loved playing on the beach with them for a little while. I’m very excited to see their Christmas card this year, because I think it just might have a beach theme!
